The Cecilian Choir have very kindly agreed to perform a Charity Concert at the Town Hall, Blairgowrie on Monday September 26th from 7pm to 10pm in aid of the planned reparation programme for St Stephen’s.
The organisation for the event is well underway and tickets (at £10 each which includes a glass of wine and finger buffet) are on sale after Mass today. Roy Sweeney and Members of the St Vincent de Paul have agreed to organise the sale for Blairgowrie, Mary O’Brien for Coupar Angus and Marion Duffy for Alyth and District.
The Parish Church and St Catherine’s have also agreed to sell tickets to their congregations as have the Cecilian Choir members to Parishes in Dundee. As a Parish we must demonstrate to the Lottery that funds will be generated from within and to that end it would be most appreciated if you could support this very worthwhile event. We are estimating to sell 300 tickets giving the Parish an income of £3000. Please try to invite members of your families and friends to what I assure you will be a quality night of light entertainment. For your information apart from the SSVP, Mary and Marion, tickets will also be available from the Presbytery.
Please support this programme.
